I quite agree with the love clock... #1 for sure...Sigh ! Don't want to get into #2 - far too painful - I've let it go.
Growing up is hard - No matter what the matter...
It's always a fight to keep discovering - strenghthening - maintaining - the self-identity factor & not lose it - change it...
It's strange that even though one yearns for love - when one gets it - one dosen't recognize it - one just refuses to give it that chance - that opportunity - & yes, before you know it.....It just may be too late. I've been there - done that types. & believe i'v learnt...
But i believe that i'm a fighter - a die hard optimist (no matter how hard the effort) - a phoenix who is struggling to emerge from the ashes. I REFUSE TO GIVE UP.
Even though the tears flow - i believe - I HAVE IT IN ME TO BE HAPPY - will be & am happy.
I'm struggling to move on...on all fronts & have reason to believe i am...(my friends say so)
I haven't started dated again (Have actually forgotten what it means "to date" :( )
I'd say love is only effortless in books & movies. Anything that needs to be forever needs to be built with efforts - with investment. Scary ???? Yet - no other way out. If wishes were horses - you & I would ride :))))
Even the caterpillar has to exert humungous effort to become the butterfly it wants to...
I don't believe in goodbyes - what i believe in is one end is the start of a fresh new beginning.
& YES - I'M HIGH ON LIFE - everything seems so beautiful - as beautiful as i want it to be. I've given myself that chance & i refuse to let it go.
Just saw "Escape from Sobibor" - not too many people get that 2nd chance - i'm one of the fortunate one's.
